NomX project: Medic
we need a starting class for humans to balance out the newest starting alien (no one knows of it besides me >.<) soooooooooo i was thinking of maybe adding a medic class to start off from when you enter the game? post your thoughts ideas, and concepts of it here while i work on a gun of some kind for a medic, and maybe medics can hold two guns?

I think that the class should have 2 options, providing ammo and providing health
S1- Medic Kit- Provides health at 6 hp/sec DOES NOT RECHARGE MED PACK
S2- Adv Medic Kit- Provides health at 8 hp/sec DOES NOT RECHARGE MED PACK Provides ammo reloads at 1 clip every 15s (can use an ability that recharges one person's clip every 15 sec)
S3- Premium Medic Kit- Provides health at 12 hp/sec (think that is speed of med station that is what i was shooting for) RECHARGES MED PACK WHEN HITS 100 HP Provides ammo reloads at 1 clip every 10s (can use an ability that recharges one person's clip every 10 sec)

yep good idea Player...
Do you think his ability to provide ammo and to heal should have a range ( like if you're 2 meters near him you're getting ammo and healt ) or do you prefer that the "medic player" should "aim" at the person he want to heal and provide ammo ( he provide healt and ammo only at one player at a time or in a range ) ???

I feel it should be an aim effect
ex: aim and left click for health and right click (with adv or premium) for ammo

i could take the Ckit heal and apply it to a new weapon, but the reload? idk how to do that maybe make the medic kinda like a moving armory that can run out of ammo as well? hmmm this wouldnt be that difficult.

i definitely like the idea, i've always thought it would be nice to have, it would be cool if the medic could heal himself, and if he could carry a secondary weapon but i think that was mentioned above

that has been sigged already and yea...... i wouldnt want the medic to heal him/herself because it would defeat the purpose of the medistation, we want the medic to have the ability to heal some health and help in the battlefield, but not to make the medistation useless and make players heal, besides medics are just there to keep people from having to go from one side of the map to the other, and NomX is made for larger maps

The gun you are thinking of for the medic (you know the machine gun type one?) Sounds alot like the Team Fortress Two medic gun. Thats good though.
