third weapon+alien ability?
hey all, i dont know how to do it myself but what if we, for NoMX, give the humans another weapons slot? or change the pistol to something more powerful (maybe a handgun? still unlimited ammo, but w/clips) cuz against any alien it is pretty much useless and just wastes a spot in our inventory. i mean, i've killed my fair share of dretches but if you're a builder and theres enemy close to base its pretty hard to really do anything but get in the way while your build timer runs out, so you pull out the pistol for all the help it does, firing shots that rarely hit their mark cuz they move at the speed of a snail. idk i guess something w/ faster projectiles but same damage capabilities. plus the guns look could use some help and i think a fresher military-style .45 with a 15 round clip would be gangster. (and maybe make the damage slightly higher to compensate for the clip reload time)
and to add more for the extra slot idea, aliens could have some sort of defensive? like a smokescreen that lasts for a few seconds or something for when they're low on. this one is expendable like the adv goons shot and adv rant acidbomb (KoR tremx), you reload by going back to hive or booster.

Medics(new starting class) will haze new improved blasters that are bigger stronger, and kinda like a mini-gun

I think the tyrant's role as a defender and the goon's role as an attacker should both be reprised, I think the smokescreen is a good idea, but it sounds highly abusable. What might be more practical is a temporary barricade that tyrants can spawn?

no more abusable than that bloody acid bomb that kors got xD

acid bomb isn't abuseable atm. I rarely use it anymore. Before it was ok and is what it should be
