my model: Unkown name yet

its gonna be a single shot has 25 bullets per clip and has 3 clips shoots 1 bullet per second each one does 25 damage. available at s2 and very affective against marauders and dragoons.



my current progress on this model

Concept art of this beautiful gun. also some other things. im making it slightly different then the art but still the base.

its pretty much done with the model itself, just need textures and script then its done.

Sounds a bit like a stage 3 gun though, maybe like Improved Rifle, eh?

Or maybe a gun that just slows down or speeds up aliens? Like the pulse rifle only it doesn't do damage, so it's not that easy to just slow aliens and begin fucking them.

Well... I don't know what you're into, Mr.BigPing, but "fucking" the Aliens isn't my idea of a good game

hehe BigPing with your actual skills I don't think you need to "slow down" aliens...but this is not a bad idea...

oh and I saw that you were creating a lot of new guns for humans...is it possible to also create new alien classes, or is it just too complicated ? ( or maybe you just need ideas... )

Are you creating all that new funny stuff for NoMX ? ( sry if it sounds stupid =/ )

NomX is a serious mod, it only has "Tangible" aliens that would normally be added, but we are only doing 2 alien models, for the fact that they take forever to be made and also, an animation model must be made and then after that a controls file then a lot of other crap that goes with it. so we are only adding 1(possibly 2) new aliens, and 3 new human guns.

ehh i dont like the idea of the laser sight, because if it shines on walls it'l just show the aliens that your coming. Admittedly they have radar but it just adds one more thing that make humans easier to see

You could make it into a zoom feature with as powerful and slow as it is, it would be cool to have something other then a mass driver.

and being that the mass driver already has a zoom feature, you could maybe take the coding from there,

its kinda like a mass driver gun with a zoom thats 1/3 closer, and the Mass driver is being replaced with a sniper rifle model. its also made to be a heavy support weapon for Stage two.
